Tazewell County: The Greater Peoria Economic Development Council is pleased to welcome Regal Industrial Corp. to the Greater Peoria Region.
Regal Industrial is an industrial coatings company with over 47 years of experience, headquartered in Donora, Pennsylvania (just outside of Pittsburgh). Regal Industrial specializes in metalizing, sandblasting, fireproofing, waterproofing and industrial coatings of all types. They have the ability to perform all blasting and coating services on-site and serve all of North America from their five corporate locations across the country.
Regal’s metalizing process protects steel bridges from corrosion and has led to exponential growth for the company. As their customer base in the Midwest grew, they sought and found an existing building in unincorporated Tazewell County (near South Pekin) that was the perfect location to meet the needs of their growing customer base.
Regal acquired the former Superior Industries building on Wagonseller Road in 2022 with plans to hire 15-20 new employees before ramping up to full operations in 2023. Some of the new positions will include sandblasters, painters, welders, handlers/loaders, and more.
