The innovation and startup program at the Greater Peoria EDC works directly with new business owners, professionals exploring new business opportunities, and students to develop, scale, and grow their new business ventures. We walk alongside these entrepreneurs to uncover insights and develop scalable businesses.

We offer several essential services including business consulting and leadership coaching to help you make your business the best it can be. In addition, we work hand-in-hand with you to conduct experiments to reach more customers and learn how best to serve them.
The Nest Coworking is a small coworking and remote office space located in the heart of the Warehouse District. Entrepreneurs and remote worker members are able to focus and get work done here. We are a shared open-plan office space with open and reserved desks, and meeting rooms. In addition, your membership provides you access to the booking of meeting rooms, wireless printing, consulting, and much more. Members at the Nest have additional benefits such as using this coworking space as a physical address for your new business. We have a limited number of monthly memberships available: open and reserved desks, business teams, office memberships. For people visiting the Peoria region for leisure or for work, we look forward to meeting you in person soon.

gBETA runs multiple times every year in cities across the United States. Up to five companies from a range of verticals are selected from a competitive applicant pool to participate in the free seven-week program. Participating companies receive: Individualized coaching and mentorship from the team of nationally ranked accelerator gener8tor on company growth and investor readiness, weekly “Lunch & Learns” and “Mentor Swarms” Investor and accelerator pitches $1M+ in deals and perks from vendors like IBM Cloud, Rackspace, Amazon, Paypal, Zendesk, Hubspot and Microsoft Ongoing post-program support and gener8tor community involvement and offerings.
