The Greater Peoria Economic Development Council (GPEDC) is looking for a dynamic and passionate professional to join our team and support our growing initiatives as the Research and Insights Manager. GPEDC is a non-profit organization charged with crafting and launching initiatives that improve the economy of Greater Peoria, centered on the Peoria Metropolitan Area. The Research and Insights Manager role is integral to our mission of driving economic development through informed decision-making. This position focuses on creating a robust data collection and analysis framework, providing the GPEDC with real-time, actionable insights. As the Research and Insights Manager, you will play a pivotal role in gathering and analyzing data from various sources, including regional organizations and government databases, to generate comprehensive insights. Your efforts will support various initiatives like Business Assistance, Business Attraction, and Workforce Solutions, alongside managing our internal data related to CRM, site inventory, and other economic development systems.
The ideal candidate for this position will be a highly organized and motivated individual with a proven track record in managing data and analytics projects. You will be expected to understand the intersectionality of economics, business, and regional planning. This role requires the collection and organization of data and the ability to translate this information into compelling visualizations and narratives that underline our efforts and outcomes in economic development.
