The Greater Peoria Economic Development Council is pleased to announce Mark Slover as the new Director of the Greater Peoria Manufacturing Network (GPMN) taking Mark Hanback’s place who fathered the creation of the GPMN and was instrumental in its growth and positioning for the future.

Mark Slover retired from Caterpillar in 2010 after spending 31 years working in Marketing and Product Development. He ended his Caterpillar career as the Product Manager for Pumps and Motors.He previously managed the Rental & Used Equipment division in North America and before that was the manager of the Machine Sales & Marketing Department in Japan. After Caterpillar, Mark spent several years working as a consultant for Chinese Hydraulic Component Companies and then started Hengli America Inc., a hydraulic cylinder company, as its President.
Mark is looking forward to using his previous experience in Sales, Marketing, Business Development, and Product Development in supporting the business growth of the Greater Peoria Manufacturing Network and its members. In addition, he has a burning passion to see the Greater Peoria area grow and prosper.
