BNEDC presents Central Illinois Rural Partners in Economic Development Seminar
The Bloomington-Normal Economic Development Council (BNEDC) is partnering with Corn Belt Energy and Heartland Community College to host a summit focused on Central Illinois’ rural communities.
The Central Illinois Rural Partners in Economic Development Seminar will take place on Wednesday, October 11, 2017, at Heartland Community College’s Astroth Community Education Center in Normal. There is no charge for the seminar, but registration is required through the EDC. The program will run from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm.
The event will focus on areas identified by many community leaders, organizations, and volunteers as vital to rural development. Panels of experts in infrastructure, rural entrepreneurship, and development financial tools will show attendees how to build economic capacity for rural communities by leveraging assets they already have.
