The Greater Peoria Economic Development Council is pleased to announce Mark Hanback as the new Director of the Greater Peoria Manufacturing Network.
Hanback joins us as the recently retired Executive Director of the Cat Production System at Caterpillar. Mark has more than 38 years of experience in Accounting, Operations, Product Management and General Management positions. As the Executive Director of CPS at Caterpillar, Hanback’s team was responsible for Corporate processes including operations planning, real estate, quality, capability building and supply chain among other things.
Starting as a manufacturing apprentice at Caterpillar over 35 years ago, Hanback has steadily risen through the ranks at the Fortune 50 Peoria General Manager and Company putting such titles as Worldwide Undercarriage Product Manager, East Product General Manager and Perkins Product and Operations Director under his belt.
Hanback’s 20 plus years of knowledge and experience in the Greater Peoria area are an invaluable asset to not only the GPEDC, but also the region as a whole. “We’re so excited to have Mark on board,” says Jennifer Daly, CEO of the GPEDC. “He’s a great asset to the GPEDC and I still can’t believe our good fortune.”
